 | | A just got the My Pretties kit yesterday and had to see just how fast and easy it was to create beautiful floral accents! Using a sponge dauber and classic ink pads, I both daubed and smeared the ink onto the petals using pomegranate, olive and celery, and it went quite well. My only frustration came attempting to adhere the layers together and with adhesion of the pearl center. I think that even though you *think* the flower is dry, it has to be completely dry for the mini glue dots to really hold...so just be patient and keep trying!
For the background, I stamped the Baroque background stamp in celery and then stamped Sanded in white craft on top. I left an area at the bottom free of background stamping so that my sentiment would stand out more.
