Here is my card for the Ways to Use it challenge "Don't forget to Wax" to use some form of wax on your card. I'm also submitting it as a second card for Rainy's Serendipity DTGD challenge.
I used sealing wax - a stick used in a glue gun.
I squeezed some melted wax onto a gold circle then pressed my stamp into it (I put embossing ink on the stamp first so it wouldn't stick to the wax).
Then I put some green rub and buff wax on my finger and went over the gold to highlight the stamp.
I've had this geisha stamping girl for a while and hadn't had the opportunity to use it - and it worked perfectly for this card.
I used a left over piece I made from Rainy's serendipity DTGD challenge for my BG paper.

This is something! First, your background is outstanding. Love the sealing wax; great idea for the challenge. And the stamp is so unique! Wonderful stuff!

That wax seal is fabulous, as is the background. The geisha stamper is such an interesting image! The entire layout is so well designed and really looks terrific!
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
