This is my favorite painting my DD did when shortly after she turned 18. She got married in May and now that she's moved out, I am taking over her room for my Stamp Room!! I hated to paint over this, but it's time! I am getting an official stampin' space at last!!

At least you've got pics of your daughter's beautiful artwork! I just got my 'official' stamping room, too, I love it as I'm sure you will love yours! Congrats!

Oh wow, Sarah. Katie's work is remarkable! Maybe you could frame a couple and put in your studio. It would be like Katie is right there for a little visit. TFS

Another lovely job from Katie! She should make a scrapbook with her old room pictures!

Wait!! Why paint over them? I painted Cinderella all over my bedroom walls when I was a teen (mostly the castle and landscapes) and my Mom still hasn't painted over them .... that was 30 years ago!!! She just set up her office/sewing room and put fake frames around them. When she paints that room, she uses painters tape and plastic to cover them up to protect them. A couple years ago when I flew home for a visit, I cut in around the art work and blended the normal wall color right up to the artwork. The whole room looked like new again.
Your daughters art work is lovely .... having done the same thing when I was a teen I know how much fun she had creating it.

There is no way I would paint over those either.. I don't care for what room.. lol.
My little girl who is 6 is completely and totally in love with Lion King. I mean she is obsessed with it. She has every stuffed animal there is and just adores anything LK. I showed her this picture and her eyes lit up.
I think that is a great idea.. putting fake frames around the art work.. this is truly priceless.. should be on that commercial :0).

OH, WOW what a great painting!! I would take this pic, blow it up to 5X7 and frame it!! My kids are jumping up and down......*paint that in MY room!!* We weren't allowed to paint our walls even a SOLID color when we were kids.......I am SOO going to let my kids paint on their walls if they are this good!!!

Wow, this one is fabulous! Katie is very talented! Too bad you couldn't just carve it out of the wall and put up new sheet rock. But, the new room will be awesome!
