My mom had Passion Flowers growing in our yard when I was young. I hunted forever for them when I had my own yard and just found a plant last year at a local nursery and bought one. I love these flowers. Mine hasn't bloomed yet this year, but the vines are growing all over the place. Thank you for sharing this beautiful flower/card. There is a story behind this flower - - something to do with the middle representing the crown of thorns worn by Jesus, thus the name Passion Flower.

What a NEAT idea. I think this would really appeal to my card-makers who don't scrapbook. I have a picture of my 2 yo nephew in his dumbo costume that would be brilliant as a card!

I could be Marinek9mom identical twin!! {waves at Marinek9mom} Everything she said is true for me as well. The Passion Vine flower holds special memories for me because my mother grew them at our house when I was growing up. Even now, when I go to the nursury I look for them to put in my own yard. Some day.......
Thanks for bringing back a special memory for me {warm smile}
