We bought my dad the miniseries Shogun on DVD for his birthday this year, it's about an English man who gets marooned on a Japanese island in the 1600s or 1700s, I forget. Anyway, Dad's been talking about it a lot since DH and I found out we're going to move to Japan, so we thought we'd get it for him. And I tried to find the most Japanese-looking stamps I could to make his birthday card. The sentiment is actually part of Happy Birthday Frame that goes with Flower of the Month, I used a marker to get just the piece I wanted. I put a piece of white cardstock on the inside of the card so I can write on it with a regular pen, and I stamped the itty bitty dragon from Ancient Asia on that insert.
I used two stamp sets on this card that I never used before!
