After you heat set the versamark with gold embossing power, how did you get
the pearlex to stick. I haven't used pearlex and lumiere very much. I love this card. Just beautiful.

I could be totally off but the reason the PearEx "sticks" is because it was added to the lumiere. The lumiere makes the PearlEx more like a "paint" as opposed to just the powder form. Using the PearlEx alone in powder form generally needs to be sealed to set. Am I on track here all of you experts out there?

Hi there,
All I manage to do with the pearlex is make a mess lol- so I mixed a bit with lumiere and painted it on the cards with a painted brush.
Hope that helps

Okay, I absolutely love this card. Very striking on the black, and my customers haven't played with lumiere yet (I haven't played with it and come up with a satisfactory result - I didn't think of embossing the image first) That's why this group is so great. I have one more question. The gold looks iridescent too. Is that just because of the photography, or did you do a mix with your embossing powder too? I assume this is detail embossing powder? Thanks.
