Today's Ways to Use it Challenge was to use ribbon and, if possible, in some unique way. I chose to do a black and white card for my nephew's 18th birthday and used my black and white striped ribbon to create a frame around his balloons, which are embossed in black opal and have a little gold flecks in them. The number 18 and the asterisks on the left side are chipboard. I used my black marker to color the sentiment image so I could get it all on one line.

I can't get over your balloons! They look so real....like the ones you buy already blown up, what are they called mylar? Or something (?). This is an awesome card, I love the black and white of it....and how creative to make your own little ribbon frame. It rocks!
