Well, I was recently asked to join an ATC swap and the first ? I had was -- how do you make one of those? lol!
The only rules were to use embellishments and layers.....how is 6 layers plus a tag PLUS, four brads and a ribbon??? heheee! I am very literal, I know!
This little bugger took about 2 hours for me to come up with--I couldnt settle on a stamp first and then I couldn't figure out how to get the dp on it I wanted to use, etc.
This is the end result--Here is what I did:
The back layer is red (cut it and put it aside)
Then I cut my blue layer and the two layers on top of it (one red and one dp from dutch girl). After cutting the two on top of the blue--I used the corner punch glue them together and then glued them to the blue layer. Then I pierced the corners for the brads. I tied a ribbon that meets at the top around these three layers and put it aside.
I stamped the image...colored it with prismas and added clear glitter to the flower.
The image is edged in red and then put on the scalloped oval. I added doodles around the edge in white gel pen.
The scallop oval is attached to the main layer with dimensionals...I added the "friend" tag at the end. It is part of a sentiment from My FAvorite Things.
Thanks for looking!!!
