This card happened because I was reorganizing my pens into new containers and stumbled across my American Crafts Glitter markers and wanted to play with them. I stamped a few images from stamps I had lying around on my desk, this Stampendous Poppy image being one of them. I colored the image in with the glitter markers, added a little more bling with a few swipes of the Sakura Stardust pen, gave it a little shadow with a Prismacolor lt. gray marker, and cut around the image and mounted it. On the piece underneath, I sponged some Brilliance Crimson and SU Apricot Appeal, then snipped the corners with the SU ticket corner punch. The card base is SU Apricot Appeal stamped in AA with the SU Linen bg stamp. Found some scraps of the MME Tres Joile paper (love, love, love it!), and mounted everything to the card base. Faux cross stitched around the striped piece of paper. Added a few swarovski gems and a little bow made from SU choc. chip ribbon. Lastly, stamped sentiment and embossed it in a nice brown.
The card has more shimmer IRL!
