This was a fun sketch. I wanted to use something different for my focal image for this sketch; I bought this sunflower when I first started stamping and have never used it, so now seemed like a good time. I used Marvy pens to color directly on the sunflower. I added a little gold Pearl Ex to the petals and around the sentiment, then applied a fixative to keep it from coming off. You can only see it in certain light, unfortunately.
Since the image was a little large and overlapped the sentiment, (also too large), I stamped the text on a white piece of paper, scanned it, then reduced the size and printed it on my cardstock. I couldÂ’ve used a computer font, but I like the style of the stamp. I inked the image edges, then tool distressed it & the gold layer a little too. The blue layer behind the image I stamped with my Canvas bg stamp, which matches the green dp that came that way! I cut small strands of a few fibers and wrapped them around the two brads.

Very pretty, I like your fiber detail and your choice of colors for the different sections, your sunflower is a great focal point,, tfs
