Here's the recipe for the salt scrub. It works just as well as those I've purchased at Bath & Body Works, but is much more economical! Enjoy.
1 cup Epsom salts
1/2 cup coarse kosher salt
1/2 cup light olive oil
1 teaspoon soap fragrance (your choice)
1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well. Only use utensils that can be washed and retain no fragrance (such as glass or stainless steel). Wood or plastic will retain the fragrances even after washing. Pour into decorative 1-pint container with tight-fitting lid. Attach gift tag with raffia or ribbon.
2. TIP: Be sure to use light olive oil so its scent doesn't overpower the fragrance. You may substitute canola oil for olive oil, but mixture will be thicker. Buy soap fragrances at arts and crafts stores.
3. TAG: Zesty Body Scrub - Gently massage a small amount of body scrub into skin, using circular motion; rinse. (Caution: Scrub may make tub or shower slippery. Do not use on open cuts.)
