For those of you unfamiliar with this project, You use a can opener to open the BOTTOM of a pop top can (I used fruit cans but you could use any pop top can), empty the contents, clean and dry the can throughly. Fill the can with anything (I used candy) then glue a circle of cardstock to the bottom of the can using Crystal Effects.
I decided to put a piece of CS on the top of the can as well. I punched a hole using the circle punch for the pull tab. I think the whole can looks more "finished" this way.
I filled these with peppermint patties and gave them to my stamping group. They liked them

LOL, I decorated one of these and put it in my SIL's Christmas package! She hated to open it until YESTERDAY, but she just couldn't wait anymore. Good thing...I put an incentive stamp in with the candies! I really love the way you finished the top...think I'll try that on my next ones.

This is totally terrific!! I am going to eat more fruit for my new years resolution, I guess this will give me an excellent reason to stick to it, Costco here I come I think they sell them in 24 packs!! he he he
