Woohoo! I'm so excited. I finally finished 150 wedding invitations for my son and his finacee! Now that they have been mailed out, I can finally share them here. I got so much help from other SCS members who had done their wedding invites -- so thanks to everyone who sent me encouragement and suggestions on everything from the pocketfold templates to the best place to buy the special large-size paper and square envelopes. The help I got from the members of this site was invaluable!
This picture shows the envelope and the pocketfold with its vellum wraparound strip. Each vellum strip was closed with a name card that has the names of the individual wedding guests on it. The vellum wraparound was stamped with the Whirly-Twirly wheel using SU Bliss Blue craft ink that was then embossed with Iridescent Ice EP. The swirls were highlighted with dots of Stickles glue to make it look like diamonds.

Hi , I just came across your invitations and I love how you made them. I have been doing something similar for my sister-in-law in a 6x6 when folded completely and was wondering if you had a template. I've made my trial piece, but I had to use 3 different pieces and then glue them together. My only worry is that it will not hold if someone pulls too hard when reading the reception card. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

My daughter loves this invitation and wants me to make them for her wedding in black and white. Would you mind letting me know where you found the pocketfold template and the envelopes? Thanks
I would love the pocketfold template if you have it available. I'm frantically searching for a way to make rehearsal dinner invitations for a dear friend who totally slipped and forgot to order these with her wedding invitations. They are getting married the middle of April and everyone has already received their wedding invite. I'm at your mercy!! Any measurements would be so greatly appreciated. Where did you find a large enough envelope for the entire invitation?
Thank you!!!
