Sorry for the poor pic quality on this one. I'm still learning...sometimes they turn out great, others times not so much. I was inspired by a card by CuttersCallous. I changed up the sentiment type and the flower stamp. I made about a dozen of these in total and gave them to my mom who can have them on hand when needed. The colors I used are too many to post but I basically used whichever colors I thought would look nice as a flower colour. I used either moss or artichoke for the stems. I used ww and vv for the card itself. I took a scrap piece of cardstock and made myself a template with a square punch for the sponged square under the flowers. I just kept moving the punch around the cs until I had the size of template I wanted. I think this is also called a reverse mask. These were made quickly and stayed simple. Sometimes it's best for me that way.

Very nice cards. I love how you did the sponged squares. Simple is good for sympathy cards, I think. It's sad to know we might need a quantity of them on hand, but as we get older, the need for them becomes more necessary, I'm afraid. I'm sure you mom appreciates having such lovely cards to send to her friends.

Sometimes we can take our tine and get really creative, and sometimes we just need a nice card, fast. These are simple but beautiful, and appropriate as sympathy cards. Nice job.

these are lovely cards....I think you did a great job and am sure the cards will be very well received. I love the simple, single layer cards and am always on the lookout for a beautiful sample like this, thanks for sharing. Jan
