HOLY MOSES that was hard! I've discovered that not all c/s quills equal... LOL! I tried Regal Rose and it just would NOT cooperate! So had to change to Pretty in Pink. And tho my original plan was to make a couple of small flowers (with the quilled parts as petals, like in the sample), I decided that my little rolls looked more like roses, so made a dozen
Took for freakin' ever though! LOL! DD was counting down as I was gluing my last little roll... LOL! It needs more in the bottom left corner, and probably in the red corners too but oh well.

this is really cute! I imagine that there is a difference in the direction of the grain of the paper with quilling too. I think for my next try I am going to use a thinner cardstock. I love your roses BTW. They are fantastic! TFS
