dh mother passed away on st. patrick's day this year. it was our last journey to see her so i strongly felt the urge to scrap it...it was the first time in prolly 4 years that the ENTIRE family was together. it's very hard to condense an emotional 7 day trip into one book. i feel i did her justice though.
the title on the cover is the total number of miles we drove that week. the book itself was covered in a map of s. dakota; the front cover highlights where she lived and the inside of the back cover hilights where she was laid to rest.

You have done a wonderful job. Kudos to you for finding the strength to scrap those last few hours. What a long ride to think, and know that in any moment everything changes. I love the cover, and what you put on inside of cover. It's all about you and your family saying goodbye to a time, place and a loved one. My sympathies to you.

This is truly amazing. I can't begin to imagine how hard this particular album was emotionally to put together. You said you hoped you did her justice, you did more than that. This is something will keep her alive for so many more years. This is a beautiful album, and you did a great job.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
