I made this card for my Mom. She has always been my biggest fan. This is a combination Mulberry Batik and Emerging Colors.
First I stamped on light pink, patterned Mulberry an all-over pattern and then stamped versamark and embossed with clear powder. I sprayed the entire piece with water and then used reinkers and an aqua painter to get the intense colors. I finished the batik and then stamped again and sprayed again to give it a washed-out look, dried it and mounted to pale plum.
It took over an hour but I'm pleased with the results.
**The little silver dragonflies show up better IRL.
~~~Thanks for looking!
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
