I made this for the ballet teacher - my girls just love her. Thanks to MELDAN who got me ADDICTED to ornaments. This one - I used reinkers (lovely lilac) inside and then sprinkled in some glitter (before the "glitter as a weapon" incident which rendered me glitterless). The glitter stuck to the sides of the ornament in random fashion - and it looks GREAT IRL! I topped it off with a light purple organza ribbon. I used the royal purple stazon for the ballet slippers and a magenta sharpie to color in - I muted it with a baby wipe. Mel - thanks for ANOTHER addiction - plus - the stack of acetate sheets - I am set for awhile!

Oh I love it - it's so cute and sparkly! I've been making these ornaments like crazy but never thought to glitter the insides as well. Wow, thanks for the great idea (for next year -- no time to redo them before Christmas!!) Linda

This is such a lovely ornament! Could you please tell me about the "Reinkers Lovely Lilac"? Is is ink or glitter. I would love to make some of these for my little nieces as a Christmas present this year.
Thanks bunches!
