This is the card my daughter and I made together to give to Joanne as a thank you for the goodie package she sent to us. We made several of them because I liked it soooo much.
Karel made the background just by rubbing Stampin'Pastels in yellows, red and oranges over Whisper White. She also stamped the Asian words from Kanji and Asian Art.

this card is just awesome..... I am holding it in my inky hands (well...not really as I wouldn't want to get it dirty)....and it is a stunner.....what a gift this card is.....this will have an honored placement in my workshop....or framed somewhere else in the house...........thanks again Kay and Karel....I'm so glad you uploaded it so others can see this stunner...
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

This card is so beautiful. Jojot (Joanne) is so lucky to have received it. I love the use of vellum. Don't see it very often and it always adds so much to a card. Great job!

This is one of the most beautiful cards I've ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous. It's so simple and elegant and striking, and the more you look at it, the more you see. This is going in my favourites! Lucky Joanne!
