I had originally made this to submit to a contest, but ran out of time and didn't get around to submitting.... And then I was planning on sending it again this month, but ran out of time again. I'm still planning on sending it in, just under a different catagory. Hopefully! I'm always.... well I should say, I'm usually a day late and a dollar short. (Especially w/my stampin' products, not always, but usually!)
To make the file folder, I actually took a regular sized folder and used it as a visual/tracing guide and then scaled it down.... I traced the tab on the file folder for the tab on my card.... and some of the corners.... Otherwise I just played with it until I got the look I was going for!
To make the little pieces of note paper, I basically just used a ruler and markers and 1/8 hole punch.
The ribbons are suppose to look like a man's tie, and the polka dots on them were painted on using a paint brush and vanilla craft ink....
This was such a fun fun card to make!
The inside just says: "Happy Father's Day!"

This is a masterful creation! It really shows your committment and attention to detail. Now get the address on that envelope and ask a friend to stick it in the post! I love the ties, the paper, the use of letters (which I need to showcase more often). Great work! Thank you for sharing!

Love the file folder you created! The letters with the handmade notebook paper is just perfect! The dtp around the edges is a realistic touch! Great card!
