Instructions and dimensions for making this shadowbox card can be found with melmel's beautiful creation: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers . The "diorama" part is created by the extra middle piece with the trees that is attached on just one side with an inch trimmed off the other side so the card can still "move" and flatten out somewhat for mailing. I really need a digital camera for these kinds of projects. The trees are actually stamped on Night of Navy CS with Versamark and embossed with Aegean Silver EP (silver rub-ons applied to the base), but apparently the reflection from the scanner creates a "white out." The trees are cut out around the tops and trimmed to a height of three inches. Angel is stamped on acetate with black stazon and colored on the back with future floor finish and pearl ex. The skin is a combination (totally trial and error) of Plaid Indoor and Outdoor Paints (white, gold & raspberry). Applied Ice Stickles to wings. For the front panel, I wheeled Pale Plum CS with Versamark, embossed with silver and stippled with Rose Romance. For the back panel, Night of Navy CS was stamped with Brilliance Starlite Silver and heat set before the star was stenciled on with Silver Encore and embossed with Aegean Silver EP. The words were stamped on vellum with Versamark and Moonglow EP and mounted across the bottom of the oval window with silver brads. The angel on acetate was then mounted with a double layer of dimensionals behind the oval window so she is floating over and in front of the trees. Used TT tape to adhere sides together, attached eyelets, ribbon and silver cord.
