I should've masked the moon before spraying on the stars. Obviously, all stars would be behind the moon from our view on earth. The bleach fumes were getting to me.
The two-toned moon was done by colouring the circle with bleach, letting it dry completely, and then colouring it again with bleach, in patches.
I did all the bleaching and waited until it dried completely before stamping the image.
