This was the gift I sent to my secret fool. We had to include an April Fools Day gag with it, and my prank was that I didn't reveal myself with the package. lol. I told her she had to browse the gallery to find a photo of the gift in order to figure out who sent it!!!
I had so much fun making this! The letter was purchased at Target and covered with patterned paper and ModPodge. A large prima flower and ribbons used as accents. I sanded the edges a bit, but I'm not sure if that's visible in the photo. The lunch tin was covered with teh same papers. A ribbon treatment on the handle, and some dark stitched ribbon for borders. (Just love how that black ribbon contrasts with the pretty paper!) And a large prima flower for some girlyness. I sorta cheated... the large prima flower was two flowers in one, but I disassembled them and used the smaller part on the letter and the larger one on the tin. The inner flower was a leftover I had from some scrapbooking, and I thought it fit really well with the color scheme. Finally, the little 4x4 journal was created with my bind-it-all. I love that thing!!! I covered the cover panel with the same patterned paper and stamped her inital onto more paper that I punched with the marvy scalloped oval punches. More ribbons in the spiral binding, too. I used sooo much ribbon on this, but I love how it turned out!!! I hope my secret WishRAK fool likes the gift!
Oh yeah - the tin is stuffed full of goodies, too!
