I saw a card the other day on here and it gave me an idea to make a garbage can, and what better use of a garbage can than Oscar the Grouch? I had to go online to see what Oscar looks like, as my boys have outgrown Sesame Street by a long shot. I don't know if the layout is all that terrific, but I had fun making it. Oscar is made using a stamp from the DD Summer Sunflower set and Old Olive ink. I used some of SU's punches to make his eyes and mouth. Cut the eyebrows freehand. His tongue is the small heart from Small Sayings, and I cut the pointy end off. His head is popped up on dimensionals, although you can't really see it from the scan. Guess he'd look better on a scrapbook page with a bunch of other Sesame Street characters.

This little guy brings back a lot of memories of when my girls were little. Very cute card!

LOL Are you KIDDING!! This card is great!! When I was little my mom always refer to my dad as Oscar the Grouch! They would think this card hilarious if I'd make him one for his birthday (he may be grouchy but has a good since of humor). ;} Great job!
