I've been making so many tins for others, but I haven't kept one for myself. This is one I made this weekend for me and me alone! I am going to make inserts to divide up my recipes and keep them organized when in this tin! I like to know where to find what it is I am hungry for! I was inspired by this paper that I found at a scrapbook store this weekend! The company name for the paper is Cosmo Cricket...new one for me. Anyways, the colors and designs on this tin are contrasting, but I think they are beautiful together! I haven't ever used this set I think. I bought it a while ago and then was looking through my stamps to see which sets I haven't used in a while, and came across this one...great time to find this beaute! LOL. I took all the hooks and latches off of the tine so that I could properly mount the paper. This takes me a while, but looks a lot nicer than me guessing how to measure around the clasps. The hardware window is just attached to the white paper and I folded back the brads which I alwso found at the scrapbooking store (Making Memories Brand), then I used sticky tape to make sure it adhered to the paper. I used polka dot sheer ribbon, plaid red and white ribbon, red ribbon, and then white ribbon. THe bottom edging is just 1/2" cool caribbean paper with a scalloped edge using the corner punch. I put 3 brads in the front to give some dimensions to the edging. Don't know what else I can tell you hear, pretty simple. Anyways, Hope you all had a fun and creative weekend!
