My daughter's 5th birthday is this weekend and we are having a bowling party. The color theme is red, black and white. This is my futile attempt at a favor bag that is "suppose" to look like a bowling pin. Each child will also get a black balloon tied to their chair, stamped with 3 white circles on it...to look like a bowling ball. Also, instead of cake and ice cream...we are having bowling ball cupcakes (black frosting and white icing dots) and bowling pin cut-out sugar cookies. These treats will be served on black paper plates, stamped to also look like bowling balls. What was I thinking....Chuck-E-Cheese would be have been easier. Any other great bowling ideas!!!

I used this same set for my son's bowling party. I made the invites, thank yous, and the cake! I stamped the "scene" (the ball knocking down the pins) and enlarged it to fit on the cake. It came out great! The guy at the bowling alley jokingly said "so, I suppose you made the cake?" and I said," as a matter of fact, I did!" He was embarrassed. Stephanie
