Here's the card I did for a Watercolor Wonder Crayons swap--I had to use Bold Brights. The flowers are colored with Yoyo Yellow and Pixie Pink, just blended back and forth until I got a look I liked; the water in the vase is Tempting Turquoise and I used Glorious Green to paint the stem. I put a charcoal shadow under the vase so it wouldn't be floating out there in nothingness.
I tried really hard to line up those stinkin' eyelets, but they just wouldn't cooperate with me. The very bottom panel (that's almost all covered up, which is a pity because it came out really pretty) is done by scribbling over the paper with the WWC, then using a wide flat brush to wet the colors and blend them together some. It's kind of like a soft rainbow effect and it sparkles a little too since it's on shimmery paper, as is the main image.
Thanks to JanTInk who suggested this color combo a while back when people were talking about what colors they don't like...Yoyo Yellow kept cropping up as a detested color, but I really like it here!
