Simple card, but I think this came out nice. A great masculine card...easy and can be used with any sentiment for any occassion.
When I first did this I had the weathered bg on the cranberry strip going the same directon as on the card back, but didn't like it, so I flipped it over and stamped the pattern going the other way. I like that much better.
Tried to use houndstooth to make the button look like the old leather buttons they used to put on corduroy coats, but now I want to try it with the faux leather tech. I love the cranberry on the caramel, but don't think it's showing up on here too well.

I love the versatility of this card. You could always add a small wildlife image or sports or anything that is of interest to the male recipient. You could even use one of the images to make a faux button. Such as a basketball. KWIM? Thanks for the great idea. Off to create.
