I thought these pretty, heart-shaped flower petals would look nice with the "From The Heart" sentiment from All Year Cheer I. For added texture, I cut a heart shape from pink homemade paper with botanicals, then layered the pieces over woven (non SU) cardstock. The heart and petals were very lightly glittered with Dazzling Diamonds.
For anyone reading this and willing to comment, I have a question. Is it too glitzy for a sympathy card? This was my original intent, but for some reason (perhaps because of the glitter), I'm not as comfortable with it now. Better as a thank you??

I don't think it is too glitzy for a sympathy card. Most of them are so morbid looking. With all of the detail that you did, it should be appreciated by the family that you cared enough to send the best!!

Beautiful, and not too glitzy for a sympathy card to me. Bouquets of flowers sent in sympathy are just as colorful. You are really tempting me with these pretty Microfleur cards you are posting! I wonder if Michael's carries this . . . . TFS. Linda
