This was made for the VSN challenge to use a charm on your card. I decided not to upload for the contest because it took longer than the 45 minute time limit. I just like to play anyway, I don't have to win.
I had forgotten to buy charms, even though I read the shopping list, so I decided to make my own with shrink plastic. I stamped the big flower from Delight in Life with black Stazon, and colored on the back with Sharpies. Then I punched a hole with a 1/8" punch and was careful to cut around that, so that when it shrunk, I would have a place to tie it onto something. Heated it with the heat gun and the charm was done.
The clothes on the girl are paper-pieced. Her top is from the same paper as the bg, which is from the Pocket Full of Posies paper stack. Her skirt is blue cs. Her accessories are colored with various Stardust pens. The scalloped mat was made by layering two Giga scallop square punches. I know I got that idea from here, please let me know if it was you. Also, the poodles fur is filled in with Stardust Stickles.

I love the girly cardsso much fun. Youre very creative with all the colors, paper-piecing, and embellishments. I Have that stamp and will have to case it. Thanks for the inspiration.
