This card was made for the Inspirational Challenge. I love that kitchen set!! The colors are so yummy...
It was just good luck that I had received my new Voila set this past Thursday. Perfect set for this challenge. I had also received the chipboard accents, so I had to try those as well.
I didn't think the chef was so big! It really fills out a card all on its own. I stamped the chef on Shimmery white cs with Chocolat Chip Craft ink, embossed him with clear powder and used my Watercolor Wonder to color him. (BTW, is it just me or is it harder to watercolor on Shimmery White?)
Then, I used my Craft Stampin' Spots to color the chipboard. I didn't want to waste anything so I used the chipboard "holes" to make the brad you see at the bottom. I used my markers to add some detailing, Ã la Queen & Co. To make the striped holder, I colored the whole chipboard with Ruby Red ink, then I used Post-Its to mask the chipboard and applied my Chocolate Chip ink directly on the chipboard.
I also stamped the circle background from "Polka Dots and Paisley" on my pink cs, so that I would have both the polka dots and striped design from the kitchen set.
*Edited to crop pictures because the details were lost in the previous one*
