This is a diorama version of melmel's shadow box card Gallery at Splitcoaststampers , combined with using Happy Heart's cut away technique for Frosty at the opening. Thanks for all the inspiration, ladies! The diorama is created by using a middle piece of Night of Navy cardstock cut out along the white embossed tree tops and attached only on one side, trimmed off slightly on the other side but left unattached so it will slide over when the card is pressed flat for mailing. Silver rub-ons were applied at base of trees for snow effect. Heart Sprinkles stamped with Silver Encore on Night of Navy back piece for starry night effect. After Frosty was stamped in black on US white and cut out using the coluzzle and craft knife, he was masked and then Bliss Blue was stippled over the US White. Swirls were stamped with Bliss Blue then mask was removed and Frosty was colored with markers. markers. Lavender Lace cardstock was used for the cut out white embossed snowflakes and for matting the oval opening and greeting. DD glitter was applied with CE to trees, Frosty and snowflakes. Torn vellum layers were attached and seperated with dimensionals for snow drift effect in front of trees. I had the most difficulty with tying the Lavender organdy ribbon on each side because I am bow challenged.
