These images are Eagle, Sun, and Bear from the Kwagiulth (also known as Kwakiutl) culture, a Pacific Northwest Coast (US and Canada) tribe. I have tried to use culturally appropriate colors. I made this as a special birthday card for my DH, who writes about Native cultures. It doesn't show, but there is actually copper on all three of the images, as well as red, black, and white.
The BG paper is very thick and very textured.

Very striking! BTW, some authorities also use Kwakwala instead of Kwaguitl (iirc from the Synala program at UBC -- I'm Gitk'san so I'm no expert on them southeners! ). TFS your fabulous card!
