This is my card for the DKOS serene sunflower swap. As I assembled the cards, each one turned out just a little bit different; I liked that. Stamped each of the sunflowers in marigold morning; stamping off the lower layer of each flower once. the centers of the flowers are true thyme stamped off once as well.
After stamping the true thyme layer of the card with the weathered background, I then overstamped the sunflowers without re-inking the background. Gave it a rustic look. Also overstamped the pieces I had to cut out and pop up for the swap before all of the cutting without re-inking either; each layer is slightly lighter than the one beneath it. Colored the bee using a blender pen and the lid of the marigold morning classic pad; then highlighted the wings just a tad with ice stickles.
