Faith and trust and a little bit of Pixie Dust!
My baby girl will be 13 (on the 13th)! She's going through a Tinkerbell phase right now. Mixed with a pink and black phase... (she got a pink and black electric guitar for Christmas).
Put 'em together and waddya got? Elsie. (you thought I was gonna say bipitty bopitty boo, right?)
Her 17 year old brother Ozzie(who adores her!), described her as the "girliest tomboy ever".
It's true. She's so dainty and sweet but tough as nails at the same time. I could go on and on. My favorite topic: my babies! (We have four- 17, 15, almost 13 & 9).
ANYWHO...
This is her party invite. She wanted the punk Tinkerbell (online image) and pink and black.
First thing that came to mind was a really cool card by Texasjodylynn in the Fan Club gallery Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I just happened to have some scraps of that metal mesh stuff... I just took off from there.
Tink was printed on vellum card stock - you can see the metal behind her- very cool.
This is the first card I've ever done without stamps!
I stamped the swirly image from Delight In Life on the envies though, it could be swirling pixie dust!
Oh! The pixie dust necklaces! The little glass vials are from a junk store I frequent, but they do have them at craft sores for more $. I just filled each with glitter (I did 10 of them) and put eyescrews into the little corks. I made a boo boo on this one, I forgot to put the necklace through before I put the clasp on the ends and couldn't get it through the screw eye! I just wrapped wire around it and gave it a loop for the necklace. Works out ok.
(my apology to the mods, I couldn't find a gallery category for this one!)
