This is a birthday card for my son Chris. He loves the outdoors and his motorcycle. It was nice to combine the two for him. The pop up has a two-fold purpose. It hides the backing from the brads and gives a clean look to the inside. The motorcycle was embossed to give a deeper finish and more metallic look. The gas tank was colored with pens first, then a layer of Papier glass finish. After the finish sits for about one minute, glitter is sprinkled on and allowed to dry. Another coat of glass fnish is then added and gives the tank a custom paint job look. You can't see the glitter in the photo, but IRL the tank sparkles.
