Made this for my DS preschool teachers for Christmas. They are requesting that we send in supplies for the school to use rather than individual gifts for all the teachers. I plan on filling with supplies requested such as glue sticks, tape, paper clips, etc...I covered with 12x12 scrapbooking paper found at AC Moore, wrapped around crimped orange and then a band of red. Cut out individual images, matted on various colored cs nand attached to red/orange band. Attached letters and numbers printed from computer, matted on various colored cs with colored brads, placed colored brads between images on orange/red band. (Did that make any sense?!)

I think that is an AWESOME idea! I will have to case it and come up with something for my dd's 1st grade teacher! I wonder what I can fit in a paint can! Does anyone ever put cooked items in these?? Maybe in ziplocks?

photocropper....I just sent you a LONG PM on paint can uses...as for cooked items...I have put cookies & little loaf breads inside them. For the cookies I just lined the can with wax paper...cookies seem to go pretty quickly & for the loaf breads...I wrap them individually in plastic wrap then put in the can. As long as you use a NEW can & not a recycled one, I think it should be fine ~ JMO ~ Smiles ~ Kelli
