These folders were made with clear page protectors. I cut the page protector (8.5x11") down to 7" high, placed a sheet of 8.5x11 paper inside the protector, and folded down the extra 1.5 inches of paper that was left sticking out of the top. Then I glued a decorated piece of cardstock that was 8.5x3.5" to the 1/5 inch piece that was folded over. I then cut 7/8" circles with a punch and adhered them to the front with brads and tied a piece of crochet thread to the top one, to close the folder. I was really pleased with the way they turned out. I am making a small one (8.5x4") to store my coupons in!!

What a super cute idea. I have so many 8.5x11 page protectors laying around now that I do mostly 12x12 albums. Definitely going into my favs so I can remember to try this. TFS
