This is a take-off on a great idea posted not too long ago by JulieHRR. I used different vellums, micro beads and beaded ribbon. Making these for a small craft fair at work. This is a sample of the 20 I've done. Waaayyy easy to do and a great little gift!

These are nice! I am pretty new to this website, so this is the first time I have seen these. Can you tell me how you made these? I would love to try some for gifts to give away.

Thanks everyone! These are really easy to make. You cut a piece of vellum to fit around your votive holder - make it long enough to overlap aboutn 1/4 inch when you wrap it around. I used red tape to adhere it when I wrapped it cause I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to come undone. I also wrapped it at tight as I could so it wouldn't slip around. Then I ran a piece of red tape around the top edge and rolled in microbeads or attached some beaded ribbon. For the one with the snowflakes, I embossed a piece of cardstock with sparkly embossing power and punched out the snowflakes. That's it! Thanks how easy these are to do. Takes just minutes to do one. Have fun.

The votive holders before vellum and microbeads are just plain old clear glass holders for tealight or small votive candles. To give you an idea of size, I cut my vellum 2&3/8" (height) x 6&5/8" (wide). The vellum covers the glass from top to bottom and there is about 1/4 inch overlap when wrapped around the glass. I use 1/4" red tape on the overlap part to tape the vellum together. Then I put 1/4" red tape around the top - on the vellum at the top - which is what the microbeads or beaded ribbon sticks to. You may have to adjust your measurements, depending on the size of your votive holder. Hope that makes sense. If not, let me know and I'll try to help.
