This card took the time limit of 45; it took ten minutes to get the candy cane created with wire and beads. The edges were direct to paper with Tim Holtz ink after distressed with a tool. White layers were sponged with the same ink. I cut a slit for the candy cane and attached it to the card with Diamond Glaze like I did with the stars. Gel pen doodle lines. April birthday so I used more white beads.
Thanks Pink-Fish/Heather for the challenge, it was fun!
I must share my doodle creation. I use a timer for VSN so I know how much time is remaining at quick glance. The card I was working on didnÂ’t get uploadedÂ…yeah that bad...anyway the timer went off as I was putting the doodles on and I jumped and the cat IÂ’m sitting for ran from the room tooÂ…that thing is loud! But I liked the goof and here is without being scared into it! It fits the shaggy bear too!

I can picture the scene too, I have one of those skittish cats!! Very funny, but the doodling looks great as does the candy cane and the rest of the card!

This is just adorable Roxi! I'm sitting here imagining kitty when the timer went off and laughing. It's happened with at least one of my kitties. I love this bear and what a neat candy cane. I really love the star brads and the lines you put behind each one.
