Challenge was to make a festive pocket! Mine is not a holiday, but just a wintery treat! Ever since Jen70 did the chocolate snowflakes, I just can't get enough of them! so that was some inspiration for this challenge! I also recently fell in love with sage shadow and close to cocoa combined, so I used the combo here! This was very easy to do!
The snowflakes on the main portion are stamped in close to cocoa and chocolate chip. The folded down piece is layerd with a sponged piece of sage shadow cardstock. on that I wrapped some chocolate grosgrain ribbon (my favorite!) and Joy is stamped in chocolate chip on Confetti Cream cardstock and punched with the SU oval punches. It is layered onto a close to cocoa layer. All the edges were sponged with chocolate chip ink to give it a warm, distressed look. The back park of the pocked was stamped with the dots from the set in creamy caramel ink... just barely visible!
I really liked this and I'll definitely do more of these fun little pockets!
