Lillian doesn't cry too often, actually she rarely cries, except for when she's hungry! Usually a big smile and a funny voice will stop all tears from streaming down her face. I've never actually taken a picture before these of her crying because she just loves to smile (lucky me!)
Journaling reads:
I may not be the typical mother, but I find joy in LillianÂ’s cry. No I donÂ’t enjoy the fact that sheÂ’s actually crying, I enjoy the fact that she has the ability to cry. Lillian wasnÂ’t able to cry during her first couple of weeks in the NICU and the very first time that I heard her little scream, I knew she was going to be okay. I know a lot of parents get frustrated with their kids easily, and although I know I havenÂ’t seen the worst of it yet, I hope that I handle every moment the same way I do when I hear her cry. To me, all the little bumps in the road are the fun parts of parenting. ThatÂ’s why I find joy in every moment.

Great page! I took pics of my boys when they were infants and crying. It is comforting! DS#2 was in the NICU for about 1 1/2 weeks, and I know what you mean about the crying. DH said we were going to get kicked out because it was a normally quiet place, and he was crying so loudly.
