This is one I did using Dreamweavers small grid stencil. I taped the stencil to my card and then inked my stamp and stamped it onto my card through the stencil. With the stencil still on the card I sponged on extra color where needed. I then inked the whole thing with stencil still in place with versamark ink, removed the stencil, added my clear embossing powder and heat set. I think this technique was featured in a Technique Junkie newsletter some time ago, you might also find directions on Dreamweavers site - I know they used to be there.

Hi Ms. Owl, your grid cards are so neato and pretty! I bought a grid stencil along time ago, throughly intending to learn how to do this. Will try it now that you've inspired me, thanks! Rosy Eckhardt

Very beautiful! This brings back memories for me. I did this technique several years ago, but forgot about it after time. Now my stencil is sold.... and I want a new one!!!
I love the vellum strip across the image with the words on it. Just lovely!
