I removed the inside of the CD case. Cardstock is glued to the inside back with a piece of gold mesh over it. Oriental embellishments attached with mounting tape. Measure for a piece of scrapbook paper to glue to both edges and across back. A strip of Oriental characters can be glued down one side of paper. Coins and fiber glued to side. I put a stand on the back--a piece of cardstock covered in the same paper. I also made a small tag with "Happy Birthday" and tied it to the fiber on the side. After the birthday is over, the tag can be removed and the case becomes a table or desk decoration.-

INKREDIBLE! This is most impressive and has an element of fun, too, just by the way it is presented!

I have something similar that this artist (my sister) made for me only in this one everything was placed in a shadow box frame. It is stunning too!
