I needed a masculine card and did not want to use the same type stamps I always use, the wild animals, fishing, sports, cars and trucks. So I thought of an oriental and dug up this small but very nice set. I liked the "DONUT CARD", very easy and something different. I used the medialion looking stamp for the center donut, the card opens on the right. All the stamping is done with jet black stazon and black embossing powder for a more dramatic look, it does look great in real life, the Bamboo BG is done this way as well. My grandson loved this card, he is 16. So I think it works.

I agree, it's a very dramatic card. I think it's perfect for a manly type card. The symbol in the middle is the Long Life symbol and used in many Asian cultures in many different ways, so very appropriate on a 16th birthday card. TFS!

What a great masculine card, although I think it could be used for anyone; it's good to know now what that symbol means and that it's totally approriate for a birthday card!!!
