I wanted to use chipboard because I have seen sooo many great monograms done with these and I just love the little "a" for annie. I also wanted to use my Letter Prints and Vintage Violet with Sahara Sand and so I came up with this. It was very fun to use the Horizontal Slot Punch so I could create my own buckle from chipboard and use the Vintage Violet Refill to dye the Twill Tape! I suggest that you use warm water and soap and rinse the twill tape thoroughly to get rid of the sizing first as the dye bath (about 6 - 7 drops to 2 tbsp water in a pyrex dish) will still 'take' if the twill is wet. I then dried the twill tape using my heat tool and a tweezers. Just a note! The tweezers squeezed out the dye and so I had to re-do that part. I just laid it on my cutting board then and dried it with the heat tool. I think my cutting board is pretty heat resistant though!
