I CASE'd this card from one done by my friend. Her gallery is Kathy S. She gives great instructions on doing this technique. I understand she CASE'd the idea from one posted by Norwaytroll. Check out their galleries for more great samples and directions. Here's the directions as posted by my friend Kathy though:
After doing a search on "emerging color", I found that Norwaytroll was the object of my CASE! On a piece of white cs, use shadow stamps to lay down some blocks of color. Using versamark, stamp a solid image over the entire piece of c.s and emboss with clear ep. Brayer color over all. This is where I used Old Olive. The clear embossed images stand out with the shadow stamps showing through. Go over the whole thing again using a background stamp or a wheel and your darkest color yet. I mistakenly used black, which is waterproof and didn't easily wipe off of the embossed areas. If I had Night of Navy, I would have used that.

oh my gosh! This card turned out so beautiful! Thank you for the idea and for the great step by step instructions! I used the night of navy and it is superb!
