I decided to give Kittie's technique a try, but somewhere in between getting together my supplies and actually putting it on paper, I lost part of my nerve and decided to loose the tree and just try for the grass and dirt -putting the little girl and her hospitalized bear in a field of grass and dirt. I think this one might need a few years practice before I ever thought about actually sending one to someone (or even letting anyone in my family see it). But here it is. (Glad I did'nt attempt the tree, that would have really been too much for me). TFS the technique Kitty.

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Beautiful!! A touching scene of a little girl and her teddy bear, sort like she is in a world all her own. It is so charming and would be an excellent card to send to anyone. You did great.
God Bless

Nice work! I LOVE this set!! - I giggled when you said that you chose to loose the tree, and do the dirt and grass. The only thing missing is a trunk - and you finished the technique well.

How in the world did I miss this. You did such an adorable card. Your grassy area and little open dirt area is wonderful. Try a tree!!!!! I bet you can do it.
