I started out wanting to try polished Stone technique. I didn't have exactly the right things so I improvised. First I used cheap photo paper and dotted it with black Stazon refill on an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It stayed in circles so I added Red reinker and it looked better. I let it dry and it didn't look right so I mixed white Gesso, Cameo Coral and glycerin and dabbed that all over. It really softened it and I love the way it turned out. The real trick is if I can do it again. The flowers are stamped in Basic Black. I just kept stamping turning the stamp as I went. I didn't like it so I spritzed it with water. The phone rang and I had to leave so I sat the piece upright to drain. When I came back I loved the way it had dried. I don't have many sentiment stamps so I used a sticker instead. The background on the right is granite paint samples. They sparkle.
