The SwampDogs are a collegiate summer baseball league. My 13 yr old daughter asks me to make cards for them at the end of the season to thank them and wish them luck in their baseball career.
The center is popped up on dimensionals.
Since I had to make 25 of these cards, I had to make them so I don't run out of supplies and make it as economical as possible:
1) made card fronts (or notecards) instead of a whole card
2) cut bashful blue paper at 3 3/4, so I was able to get 6 pieces out of one 8 1/2 x 11 paper instead of 4, which I was going to do at first. I like this look better anyways.
3) for the dimensionals, I used the extra foam which was trimmed off the stamps before mounting. Just peel off the rubber part and that leaves you w/just the foam. I added glue to have it hold extra good.
4) the only extra thing I added was the year "2006", since I was making so many of these, I wanted to make them as easy as possible. besides, college boys don't want all that extra girly stuff on them. anyways.
